How does RentFund work?

It's simple: RentFund™ gives you a return for every verified rent payment you make. There are three plans you can choose from based on your personal goals which will help increase your return and benefits from RentFund. When you are ready to buy a home, you'll be able to receive a return based on the number of verified rent payments in your RentFund, the price of the home you're purchasing, and the number of people subscribed to RentFund.

Can I withdraw my money anytime?

Yes but It's important to know that a required minimum of 24 months of verified rent payments is needed to qualify to use your RentFund. Then, you enter a queue based on the number of people on RentFund buying a home.*

Does my landlord have to agree?

No, you can enjoy the benefits of RentFund without having your landlord involved.

Do I pay rent through rentfund?

No, you just need to verify that you've made a rent payment by uploading a lease agreement and bank statements. We do offer a feature called Simple Pay which allows you to pay rent using a credit card if you'd like to automate your monthly rent payments and collect points. The fee is 2.9% + $4.00 per transaction.

Can I buy any home for sale on the market?

Yes, you can buy any home for sale on the market with our agent partners and get a mortgage through our lending partners.

Can I buy an investment property?

Yes, you can buy an investment property with your RentFund™.

What if I never buy a home?

Our main goal is to ensure that everyone is successful at buying a home. But we also understand that life happens and sometimes unexpected things can hold you back from reaching your goal of homeownership. Not to worry, in the scenario where you aren't able to buy a home, RentFund will refund you all your subscription fees, no questions asked. We are doing this because we want to eliminate the risk for you so you can be confident to join RentFund and start working towards the goal of homeownership!

How does RentFund payout funds?

RentFund has developed a unique and creative business model that ensures funds will be paid out. We can guarantee the payout of funds, generated in three primary ways: commissions, subscriptions, and investments.RentFund receives a commission when you purchase a home with our partners, and we put the full amount toward the purchase of the home. Subscriptions are all about scale: the more people using RentFund, the more beneficial it is for everyone because we share the profits each month. Lastly, through investments, we invest a percentage of our profits and pay out funds from the interest generated from those investments.
