RentFund Electronic Communications Policy

1. Purpose

This Policy explains how RentFund communicates with users electronically and how users can manage certain communication preferences.

2. Transactional Communications

By using RentFund, users agree that RentFund may send transactional, operational, security, account, support, proof, verification, approval, payment status, dispute, refund, and service communications by email, SMS, phone, push notification, in-app message, website message, or other supported electronic channels.

3. Examples of Transactional Messages

• Request received, approved, denied, cancelled, pending, sending, sent, failed, or delayed.

• Payment method, direct deposit, e-transfer, Stripe, provider, or recipient information needed.

• Proof of rent use requested, accepted, rejected, overdue, or under review.

• Account security, verification, fraud review, support, disputes, policy updates, or service changes.

• Messages required to complete, protect, or administer the Service.

4. Marketing Communications

RentFund may send marketing messages, promotions, special offers, educational content, product updates, or partner offers where permitted by law and with consent where required. Users may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting RentFund.

5. Essential Messages Cannot Be Opted Out

Users may unsubscribe from marketing messages, but may not opt out of essential transactional or service communications while using RentFund or while a request, payment, dispute, proof review, repayment, provider obligation, or account issue is active.

6. User Responsibility

• Users must keep email, phone number, and account contact information accurate and up to date.

• RentFund is not responsible for missed messages caused by incorrect contact information, spam filters, blocked numbers, disabled notifications, app deletion, device issues, carrier delays, or user settings.

• Message and data rates may apply for SMS or mobile communications.

7. Electronic Consent and Records

Users consent to receive agreements, notices, disclosures, confirmations, and records electronically. Users may print or save electronic copies for their records. If a user withdraws electronic consent, RentFund may be unable to provide some or all of the Service.
