1. Purpose

This Disclosure explains how independent third-party providers may offer, approve, verify, process, finance, or administer certain options made available through RentFund.

2. Types of Options

RentFund may display an option offered by an independent third-party provider, a landlord- or property-manager-approved payment arrangement facilitated through RentFund, or another rent-payment option described before acceptance. Not every type of option is available to every user or request.

This Disclosure applies primarily to an option offered or controlled by an independent third-party provider. A landlord- or property-manager-approved arrangement may instead be governed by Partner or arrangement-specific terms.

3. RentFund’s Role

RentFund helps users review options, submit information, complete verification, coordinate with landlords or property managers, and facilitate eligible rent payments to authorized recipients. Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, RentFund is not the lender or credit provider, does not make an independent provider’s credit decision, and does not guarantee approval.

4. Provider Terms and Disclosures

Before accepting an independent provider option, the user may be required to review and accept the provider’s terms, privacy policy, payment authorization, credit or cost-of-borrowing disclosures, repayment schedule, fees, interest, late fees, dispute process, and other requirements. Provider terms are separate from RentFund’s Terms and control the provider’s product.

5. Eligibility and Verification

An independent provider may require identity verification, a soft credit check, risk assessment, bank-account review, income review, repayment-method verification, fraud screening, or another eligibility check. Users must review the provider’s disclosures for the exact type and effect of any review.

6. Provider Decisions

•  Approval is not guaranteed.

•  Available options may differ by user, amount, location, provider, risk review, credit profile, payment history, landlord participation, and other factors.

•  RentFund does not control provider approvals, denials, limits, fees, repayment terms, failed payments, collection activity, account actions, reporting, or errors.

•  A provider may suspend, modify, cancel, or revoke an option according to its own terms.

7. Fees, Compensation, and Repayment

The user is responsible for reviewing all RentFund fees, provider charges, repayment amounts, payment dates, penalties, interest, and other material terms before accepting an option. RentFund may receive fees, compensation, or other consideration from users, providers, or Partners where permitted and disclosed as required by law.

8. Information Sharing and Payment Processing

RentFund may share information reasonably necessary with the selected provider and supporting service providers to evaluate eligibility, prevent fraud, administer the option, process a rent payment, provide support, or meet legal and compliance requirements. Information is handled as described in the RentFund Privacy Policy and the provider’s own privacy policy.

9. Provider Changes and Availability

RentFund may add, replace, or remove independent providers and may change which provider options are displayed. The applicable provider and material transaction terms will be disclosed before the user accepts an option where required by law.

10. Disputes With Providers

Disputes about an independent provider’s financing, repayment plan, decision, fees, account action, reporting, collection activity, or payment failure must usually be handled directly with that provider. RentFund may assist where reasonable but cannot guarantee a provider outcome.
