Yes. It is free to partner with RentFund. Partners can receive a unique RentFund link, share it with tenants, and give tenants access to flexible rent payment options.
RentFund helps tenants access payment options when they are short on rent, so partners can collect rent more consistently without having to manage payment plans themselves.
No. Tenants can request rent payment options directly through RentFund. Landlord approval is not required for a tenant to submit a request. RentFund runs in the background and optimizes what you are already doing to collect rent every month.
Funds can be sent by e-transfer or direct deposit, depending on the option selected. Tenants can choose to have funds sent directly to their landlord/property manager or to themselves. If tenants choose to send funds to themselves they will need to provide proof that funds have been used to pay rent.
Once a tenant is approved and all required details are confirmed, funds are normally sent within 24 hours.
If funds are sent to the tenant, they are required to provide proof that the funds were used to pay rent. Proof can include a rent receipt, bank statement, or landlord confirmation.
No. RentFund does not replace your current rent collection system. It simply gives tenants another option to help them pay rent when they need flexible payment support.
